Favicon Tools is a small, independent project, and we read every message that comes in. Whether you are stuck on an export, hitting a confusing edge case in the verifier, or you have an idea that would make the generator meaningfully better, we want to hear it. This page lays out the right address for each kind of question so your message lands on the right desk.
Support and bug reports
For technical issues with the generator, the verifier, or any of the downloadable assets, email support@favicontools.com. Useful information to include in your first message:
- The URL of the page where the problem occurred
- A copy of the source image you were processing, if you can share it
- The browser and operating system you are running
- The exact error text or a screenshot, when available
We aim to reply to support email within two business days. If your report includes a reproducible bug we can confirm on our end, we usually patch it the same week and write back when the fix is live.
Account and billing questions
The core generator is free and does not require an account. If you have signed in to access dashboard features and have a question about your account, authentication, or any future paid plans, the same support@favicontools.com address is the right place to write. Please send the message from the email address you used to sign in so we can verify the request quickly.
Advertising and sponsorships
We accept a small number of sponsorships and partnership placements on the site each quarter. If you want to put your developer tool in front of an audience of engineers who are actively shipping web and mobile apps, start by reading the advertising page for available slots, audience numbers, and current pricing. After you have looked through it, send a note to partnerships@favicontools.com with the product you are promoting, the placement you are interested in, and your target launch window.
We will not run sponsorships for products that compete directly with a free feature of the site, ad networks that retarget users across the open web, or anything that conflicts with our privacy policy.
Press and interviews
For press inquiries, podcast appearances, or interview requests, email press@favicontools.com. Please include the publication or show, your editorial angle, and your deadline. We generally turn around press requests within three business days, but time-sensitive requests with clear deadlines get prioritized.
Feedback and feature ideas
If you have an idea for a feature, an integration, or a piece of documentation we should write, send it to feedback@favicontools.com. We keep a public-ish backlog of suggestions and pull from it when we plan each release, so even short notes are useful. The same address is the right one for content suggestions on the Favicon Tools blog.
We are especially interested in hearing about the favicon edge cases you keep running into in the wild: weird browser behavior, niche frameworks that handle icon paths oddly, or any time you find an existing site whose favicon coverage is a horror story we should write about.
Privacy and data requests
For questions covered by GDPR, CCPA, or any other privacy regulation, including data access requests and deletion requests, email privacy@favicontools.com. The privacy policy explains what data we collect and how long we retain it, and the privacy address is monitored separately from general support so requests do not get buried.
Turnaround and what to expect
We are a small team in Australia, so messages sent late on a Friday may not get a response until the following Monday. Outside of public holidays, expect a first reply within two business days for support and feedback, three for press, and one to two weeks for partnership conversations that involve scheduling. If you have not heard back within a week, it is reasonable to assume the message got caught in a spam filter; please send a polite nudge to the same address.
If you would rather not email at all, you can also reach Mike on X at @the_mewc. DMs are open, but email gets a faster, more thorough response.
